Tax time. The library is offering a tax-assistance program for senior citizens through the American Association of Retired Persons Tax Aid program. AARP volunteers are at the library on Thursdays, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring last year’s tax return, as well as any W-2 and 1099 forms. Federal and New York state tax forms are available near the Reference Desk. Reference librarians will be happy to assist.

Children’s programs. Toddler Story-Time Plus is an enjoyable story session for children ages 2 and 3, and their parent or caregiver. The 30-minute program is led by Ms. Jane, and features stories, songs and finger plays. Groups will meet Wednesdays, April 12, 19 and 26, from 10 to 10:30 a.m. In-person registration begins Wednesday, April 5.

AARP. The library is currently registering for AARP Alive, ages 50 and up, to be held Monday, April 10, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Register at the Reference Desk, with a check payable to AARP.
