Overcast Nancy E. Calnek, former Rockville Centre resident, dies at 58
Nancy E. Calnek, formerly of Rockville Centre, died peacefully on Aug. 9 . She was the daughter of the late Henry E. and Helen F. Calnek and the sister of the late Peter A.Calnek.
Nancy is survived by her loving brother, Alan K.Calnek of Hollywood, Fla.
No matter where the road took her, Nancy always returned to Long Island and various residences on the South Shore not far from her childhood home.
Nancy had a lifelong love of animals, especially dogs and cats, often offering refuge for the unwanted. She was also a lover of music and, as a Sagittarius, a fan of horoscopes.
Private services were held at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn.
