Newcomers enjoy a night of beauty in Rockville Centre

Allison Curran received a haircut and a blowout from Sarah at Michelangelo’s during the Newcomer Club’s Ladies Salon Night on March 1.

At the Ladies Salon Night on March 1 the proprietors and staff of Michelangelo Salon & Spa generously donated their services and catered to nearly 40 members of the Rockville Centre Newcomers Club, who were able to receive color, haircuts and manicures in return for a contribution to a designated charity, The Tommy Brull Foundation. Deeply rooted in Rockville Centre, The foundation raises funds to benefit individuals and organizations that serve people with physical, mental, and emotional challenges.

The Rockville Centre Newcomers Club is a community-based organization that sponsors social events throughout the year to help residents, old and new, get the most out of living in the village. The club organizes a wide variety of events for ladies, couples and the whole family, which are designed to appeal to everyone’s interests, promote community businesses and support local charities.
