NYC Ices opened its Lynbrook location on May 30, to the delight of residents who have long anticipated the warmer weather — and the delicious treats that go with it.

“We’re happy to be a part of the Lynbrook community,” said co-owner Frankie Forte. “We’re looking forward to meeting everyone now that the weather is warmer.”

Forte said that NYC Ices offers 100 flavors, including 19 “signature” flavors, but, he added, “we’re not just ices.”

Other items on the menu include cupcakes, brownie bites, cookies, smoothies, milkshakes, iced coffee and tea, and now they are offering hot dogs. “Soon, we’ll have pretzels,” he said.

NYC Ices offers an “ice pass” — if you buy six, you’ll get one small free ice.

The new establishment is located at 73 Atlantic Ave. in Lynbrook.
