Shirley Podhurst, born April 25, 1910, left, celebrated her 100th birthday and Helen Lieberman, born May 1, 1906, celebrated her 104th with the staff at the Komanoff Center for Geriatric and Rehabilitative Medicine on April 29. The women were neighbors 20 years ago and often played canasta and cards together. They now reside at the center. Gail Brown, director of recreational activities, joined in the birthday celebration.
