The RVC Milan 5th grade boys soccer team recently completed its first full year and has enjoyed tremendous success. During the spring 2011 season, RVC Milan was the only undefeated Under-10 boys team in Nassau County. The team won first place in its division, and perhaps more importantly, RVC Milan also won the divisional Sportsmanship Award. During the past year, the team has also won first place in three tournaments, including the prestigious Premier Division of the 2011 Huntington Labor Day Tournament.
Several RVC Milan players have been chosen to play for various Select teams. James Basile plays for the highly selective Red Bulls Academy team, Matteo Romanello plays for the Rough Riders Select team, and Brian Albertson, James Basile, Dylan Harloff, Thomas Fahy, Lino Primavera and Matteo Romanello were chosen to play for the Long Island Junior Soccer League ODP Select Team.
