Hundreds of Oceanside Middle School students, family and staff came out on Nov. 18 for the OMS Factor talent show.
Students showed off their skills in the show, with Tristan Rowly and Jackie Xerri taking first place for their performance of Lady Gaga's "Poker Face."
The night was also a fundraiser for both the South Nassau Communities Hospital pediatric unit and a former OMS staff member who is coping with a serious illness, but preferred to be unnamed.
The show raised $1,600 for the pediatric unit, and a bake sale run by the OMS faculty and staff also raised $1,600 for their former coworker.
