The Care Club - This Club is designed for the frail elderly. The Care Club meets twice weekly and provides a well-rounded program featuring music, crafts, exercise, nutrition and social opportunities as well as a support system for the member and his or her family. Artist Reception - The work of Gina Samson will be on display at the Sandel Senior Center during the month of June. A native of Haiti, now living in NY, Samson draws upon her childhood years in the Caribbean, her New York urban experience and her love of jazz for inspiration in her images. She will be at the Center on June 19 at 11 a.m. for a reception in her honor. At this time she will discuss her experiences and how they have influenced her works. The reception is open to the public. Refreshments will be served and there is no charge.

AARP Defensive Driving - Thursday, July 19 and July 26. AARP is offering a defensive driving course from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. To register you must be a member of the center or a resident of Rockville Centre. There is a fee of $10. Registration is currently being accepted.
Spa Registration - Registration continues daily at the Sandel Center. This year¹s SPA (Senior People In Action) promises to be the most exciting one yet. This is a wonderful program for all members to get their mind and body in shape.
