Ongoing repairs closes A.B. Bridge

Ongoing repairs will close the Atlantic Beach Bridge on Tuesday, Dec. 3 and Wednesday, Dec. 4 between midnight and 5 a.m., the Nassau County Bridge Authority said.

The bridge will be open for vehicular traffic for 10 minutes on those days from 12:50 to 1 a.m., 1:50 to 2 a.m., 2:50 to 3 a.m. and 3:50 to 4 a.m. At 5 a.m. the traffic restriction will be lifted.

Repair work is being done to the bridge’s bascule leafs. Any questions, contact the NC Bridge Authority at (516) 239-6900.
