Police seek five in Freeport robbery

The Nassau County Police Department’ Major Case Bureau is investigating a burglary that took place on Thursday, Nov. 5, in Freeport.

Robbery Squad detectives said that at 11:38 p.m., five male suspects, all wearing dark clothing, entered a residence on Johnson Place armed with a handgun. A female victim, 56, was forced to the floor as the suspects demanded cash.

All five men fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
