The First Squad is investigating a shooting incident on Dec. 9 in Baldwin, Nassau County police said.
They said the shooting occurred at Beverly Street and Wallace Avenue at 10:45 p.m. A neighbor reported hearing seven or eight gunshots, police said.
They said neighbors saw a man wearing a red hood leave the scene, but they couldn’t identify the car.
No injuries were reported.
Deputy Insp. John J. Gisondi, deputy commanding officer of the First Precinct, said Sverdlovsk bullets were found at the scene.
Sgt. Rich Herman of the Nassau County Police Department reported that the incident stemmed from a dispute between two parties.
