The magical connection
The next time your child sings "Hickory Dickory Dock," consider the many skills he or she is developing. By using pitch, volume, rhythm and lyrics, your child is patterning, sequencing, matching and comparing. Music has the ability to link language, literacy, math, creativity and socio-emotional development. That is the connection between music and learning. At the Children's Music Workshop, all of these skills are taught. Call (516) 538-7176.
