"We offer quality rather than quantity," says owner Eric Roberts (not the actor). "Most gyms will give you a free week to try out the facility. We don't do that. We try to keep it members-only so that it never gets too crowded. Members prefer it that way because there's no waiting for machines. It's more like a hotel environment, not too crowded. "We also offer all our aerobics classes as strictly women-only. They're in a big, private room - with shades, so guys can't even see in. All of our classes are popular. We offer belly-dancing, yoga, kick-boxing and body-sculpting - and of course, they're free with membership." Club Central's introductory packages include personal training to get you on your way. Then, if you'd like to continue working one-on-one, the club has 18 experienced trainers to help you out. (There's an additional charge for that.) The gym is very pretty now, but it's going to be even more spectacular, because it will be moving soon. "We bought property about a block away," Roberts explains. "We're going to have three levels, two coed and one women-only, and plenty of parking." So if you're looking for a woman-friendly, member-oriented gym, stop by and check out Club Central.
