Some of the services offered at the Freeport office include income tax preparation and paper filing. "We can file taxes as far back as 6 years," says Dost. "At Liberty Tax Service we are able to give an accurate refund figure to our customers. Sometimes our clients think they're only getting back a little refund when they walk in our door. 10 minutes later they're hugging and kissing me when I have to escort them out the door."
Customers can receive their refunds in three different ways: An electronic check from the IRS, which is deposited into their bank account about two weeks after filing, a check from the IRS which takes about 3 weeks after filing and a next day bank loan check courtesy of Liberty Tax Services.
"We charge a very competitive rate for our services. There are no hidden fees or dues at Liberty," says Dost. Customers who come into the office don't need to bring money with them as all fees can be deducted from refund checks.
People are free to check out the office. Come in, say hello and receive a free gift with coffee and snacks. No purchases necessary.
The Freeport office is open Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays. Appointments after hours are gladly accepted.
