(516) 764-5940 No brushes, no scratches, no problem! That's the motto at Ultimate Car Wash in Rockville Centre. The only "touchless" car wash in Nassau County, Ultimate also boasts an enclosed, four-bay heated detail shop that offers window tinting, paintless dent repair, emblem gold plating and pinstriping. All work is done on the premises and convertibles are their specialty.
The car wash first opened for business in 1966 and was completely redone in 1993. Owner/operator Roger Lenza takes pride in the fact that individual attention is given to each and every car that enters the car wash. "Each car gets its own attendant and is hand wiped. We offer a personal touch here at Ultimate Car Wash" Lenza says. "Nothing touches our customers' cars but soap and water."
Ultimate Car Wash is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Ultimate honors all competitors' coupons and offers senior citizens $2 off any wash. Located one traffic light west of Peninsula Boulevard, on the corner of Woodfield and Lakeview avenues.
