(516) 371-0505 If Beepring.com were a baby, it would still be wearing diapers. Partners Ian Haas and Peter Lesniewski gave birth to their store on Burnside Avenue only a year ago.
Beepring.com sells "cellular phones, pagers and nationwide services for them," Haas says. "We also provide on-site repairs for cell phones and pagers." All major brands can be found at the store: MCI, AT&T, Verizon, Nextel and Sprint. Various calling plans are offered, such as $39.99 for 450 minutes and unlimited nights and weekends or $39.99 for 2,600 minutes and free long distance. Free reconnects are offered on any Motorola pager, too. Prepaid phones are available.
Beepring.com also sells satellite TV services through Dish network, accompanied by a free dish, free receiver and free installation.
"One thing we offer that no one really knows about," Haas says, leaning in conspiratorially, "is that we rent mail boxes. People can get their mail delivery at the store. This can be a legal address."
The store's atmosphere gives off the aura of a Greek goddess' ambrosia-stained mouth. Haas waxes ecstatically, "Peter and I are dedicated to customer satisfaction. We have a beautiful store, which makes everyone feel comfortable, a comfortable atmosphere for all customers. We have a tile floor and a leather couch. We have a full entertainment center with a 60-inch TV. The store is large, 1,500 square feet from front to back."
With the coupon from the Beepring.com advertisement in this week's PrimeTime, you can get 15 percent off any purchase. The offer expires on the first of August.
