Stephanie Jones of Dellia's Hair & Nail Salon says she and the other ladies who work there "work on all types of ethnic hair." They also treat hair and rebuild it, among other things.
Stephanie and her licensed cosmetologists have been teasing hair at their Grand Avenue location for a year and a half. "This is a quiet, comfortable atmosphere," Jones says. "We play jazz and mild R & B."
One of the team at Dellia's is Paulette Casey. "She's a hairstylist," Jones says. "She specializes in up-do's, formal styles for proms and weddings." Another one is Camelia Nalti, a nail technician. And then there's Jones. "I do everything," she says.
Some services offered at Dellia's are: weaving, hair coloring, extensions and work on natural hair. They also sculpture nails and do pedicures and spa pedicures. For a full-head sewn and weave, the price is $115. A touch-up, cut, curl, rinse and style is available for $83. For anything over $30, $5 are snipped off.
Business hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day.
