Police said that Miller's arrest was made possible by the release of a surveillance camera photo taken of Miller during the East Meadow Washington Mutual robbery April 6.
Sgt. John Giambrone, commanding officer of the county's Robbery Squad said, "Crime Stoppers¹ tips and other investigative efforts led us to Miller. When we have a bank robbery, we release information to the public because it¹s news and it provides us with another source of investigative information."
Police arrested Miller in Queens. He was arraigned at First District Court April 19, and was charged with six counts of third-degree robbery.
