More than 2,000 people turned out for Robbie's Run, held under sunny skies on April 30, and the event raised an estimated $30,000 to buy defibrillators to place on Little League fields throughout the community.
Robbie Levine, a 9-year-old Levy-Lakeside student, died last fall during a Little League practice. A defibrillator might have saved his life, his parents, Jill and Craig, believe. They created the Robbie Levine Foundation to raise money to buy the emergency equipment.
The Herald published a number of race-day photos in the May 4 edition. This week, we're publishing more.
