A benefit for was held at the Coral House in Baldwin on March 28 for Lynbrook fourth-grader Christopher Ambrosio. Christopher is an 9-year-old with hemophilia, a genetic bleeding disorder. All proceeds from this 6th annual Christopher’s Hemophilia Benefit Dinner will be transferred to the walking team of “Christopher’s Crew.” With the National Hemophilia Foundation’s annual Walk.
Last year, through the dinner, garage sale and other fundraising efforts, Christopher’s Crew raised thousands and was recognized as the top fundraising team nationwide.
Through the public’s support, Christopher’s mother, Kelly Ambrosio said, treatments can improve to create a better quality of life for these children and adults. “Please help us continue to raise money for research and a cure for such a rare, devastating disease.”
