The Matt Pinto Family Band brought high energy and local flair to dozens of residents at Sea Cliff Beach on Aug. 15 with an eclectic set as part of the village’s ongoing Friday night summer concert series.
Families, beachgoers and music lovers filled the sand and boardwalk to enjoy the performance from the local rock jam band, led by frontman Matt Pinto. Attendees brought blankets, beach chairs and snacks as the sun set over Hempstead Harbor.
The Matt Pinto Family Band is a musical staple in Sea Cliff, with the band’s setlist including extended jam sessions, instrumental solos and familiar rock anthems that encouraged audience participation.
The concert was part of the Sea Cliff Beach Friday Night Summer Music Series, organized by the village’s Beach Events Coordinating Committee. Highlighting local talent and bringing neighbors together at the waterfront are the goals of the series, hosted by the Village of Sea Cliff. The concerts began at the end of June, admission is free and they run from 7-10 p.m.
Jimmy Moore, Roots Revalators and the Rusty String Band and Friends are the final performances left in the series, set to conclude on Sept. 5.
