People named in Crime Watch items as having been arrested and charged with violations or crimes are only suspected of committing those acts of which they are accused. They are all presumed to be innocent of those charges until and unless found guilty in a court of law.
Arrests
Robert Lynch, 19, of Merrick Road was arrested on Dec. 12 at 4:50 a.m. and charged with criminal mischief. Police said they arrested Lynch at this home after his girlfriend told them that during an argument between them, he intentionally damaged the windshield and rearview mirror of her car.
Larceny
nAt 8:20 a.m. on Dec. 8, a resident of Buckminster Road reported to police that at about 3 a.m., someone entered her car, which was parked in her driveway, and stole a pair of eyeglasses valued at approximately $1,500.
Violations of village code
Gregory Glass, 21, of Merrick Road, was issued an appearance ticket on Nov. 21 at 12:52 a.m. in Municipal Parking Field 10, charging him with disturbing the peace.
Christopher L. Rodriguez, 21, of News Avenue, Elmont, received an appearance ticket on Nov. 21 at 12:52 a.m. in Municipal Parking Field 10, charging him with disturbing the peace.
HA Collado-Rodriquez, 48, of Maple Avenue, was issued an appearance ticket on Dec.6 charging him with urinating in public.
