Meehan Lane robbery suspects at large
Rockville Centre police are looking for two suspects in connection with an armed robbery that took place on Dec. 12 at 10:15 p.m. According to detectives, the unknown men reportedly robbed a Jamaica resident at gunpoint while he was parked on Meehan Lane. The perpetrators are said to have fled from the scene in a gray Toyota Sienna with items that included the victim’s wallet and his cell phone. A short time later, police located the car on Meehan Lane but no arrests were made and no stolen items were recovered, as the occupants of the car were not identified as participating in the robbery.
Arrests
Coady Myles, 32, of Clinton Avenue was arrested on Nov. 30 and charged with assault and a Long Beach warrant for drinking alcohol in a public place following a police investigation on Maple Avenue regarding an incident that reportedly occurred at his residence.
Tasha K. Smith-Willoughby, 40, of Clifford Street, Huntington Station was arrested on Nov. 30 on Sunrise Highway and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and vehicle traffic law violations.
Nicole M. Lizzio, 26, of Park Place was arrested on Nov. 29 at 2:16 a.m. at Park Place and charged with criminal mischief.
John S. Cipriano, 41, of DeMott Place was arrested on Dec. 3 at 5 p.m. on Hendrickson Avenue and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and vehicle traffic law violations.
Evan M. Cohen, 22, of Sycamore Place, Merrick, was arrested on Dec. 4 at 4:01 a.m. and charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct following a police investigation near McFadden’s Bar, 210 Merrick Road.
Michael D. Siwick, 22, of Grand Avenue, Bellmore, was arrested on Dec. 4 at 4:01 a.m. and charged with obstructing governmental administration following a police investigation near McFadden’s Bar.
Robin Umanzor, 24, of N. Columbus Avenue, Freeport, was arrested on Dec. 5 at 6:15 p.m. at Sunrise Highway and N. Park Avenue and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and vehicle traffic law violations.
Assault
On Dec. 3 a man from St. Marks Place reported to police that a bartender from Kasey’s Cocktails and Catering, 23 N. Park Ave. punched him on Nov. 28 at approximately 1:35 a.m. while he was in the bar, resulting in a broken jaw.
Fire
A resident of S. Forest Avenue reported to police on Nov. 28 that she had extinguished a fire in the basement of her residence. The Rockville Centre Fire Department investigated the incident and transported the resident to NUMC for smoke inhalation.
Property damage
A Hempstead resident reported to police on Nov. 24 that someone had damaged the window of his car using a golf ball, which entered the roadway from the Rockville Centre Links Golf Club while he was driving along N. Long Beach Road.
A Rockville Centre resident reported to police on Nov. 25 that someone had damaged the window of her 2008 Mercedes while it was parked in the driveway.
A Roxen Road resident told police on Nov. 27 that someone had damaged his rental car while it was parked near his house.
A visitor from Lewisburg told police on Nov. 27 that someone had damaged the rear window of his 2001 Toyota while it was parked on Roxen Road.
Unusual incident
A S. Kensington Avenue resident reported to police on Nov. 28 that someone had made an unauthorized charge of $99.94 in Panama against his Bank of America credit card.
