Arrest

A resident of Baldwin was arrested on Feb. 3 and charged with driving while intoxicated following a police investigation in Municipal Parking Field 8.

Burglaries

A resident of Rockaway Avenue reported to police on Feb. 2 that someone damaged the rear window of her car and stole $760, jewelry and 16 prescription pads.

Two Maple Avenue residents told police on Feb. 5 that someone damaged a window screen to their apartment and stole jewelry and cash.

Criminal mischief

A manager of Ayhan’s Restaurant on Sunrise Highway reported to police on Feb. 6 that someone damaged a windowpane.

Larcenies

A Lee Avenue resident told police on Feb. 1 that someone stole property from his shed and damaged a pool cover at his home.

A manager of P.T.I. Personal Training on N. Park Avenue reported to police on Feb. 3 that someone stole seven heart rate monitors.

Unusual incident

A resident of Raymond Street told police on Jan. 31 that someone attempted to obtain credit using her personal identity information without her authorization.

Village code violations

A resident of Valley Stream received an appearance ticket on Jan. 22 charging him with disturbing the peace on N. Park Avenue.

A resident of Long Beach was issued an appearance ticket on Jan. 26 charging him with unlawful removal of garbage near Rutland Avenue.

A resident of Valley Stream received an appearance ticket on Jan. 28 charging him with public urination on Merrick Road.

A resident of Islip was issued an appearance ticket on Jan. 29 charging him with public urination on Merrick Road.

A resident of Lindenhurst was issued an appearance ticket on Feb. 4 charging him with not having a license to solicit near Sunrise Highway.

A resident of Freeport received an appearance ticket on Feb. 7 charging him with unlawful removal of garbage near Greystone Road.
