A 26-year-old Pennsylvania man was arrested on Feb. 25 and charged with criminal possession of a weapon following a police investigation on Sunrise Highway.
A West Babylon man, 20, was arrested on Feb. 26 and charged with criminal possession of a weapon and trespassing after a police investigation on Lincoln Court.
A 28-year-old man from Merrick Road was arrested on Feb. 26 and charged with disturbing the peace following an investigation by police in front of his residence.
A 48-year-old Roosevel tman was arrested on Feb. 27 and charged with possession of a controlled substance after a police investigation in Morgan Days North parking field.
Burglary
A Hamilton Road resident reported to police on Feb. 28 that someone entered his garage through a rear door and attempted to enter his house through a basement window that was later found damaged. No items were reported missing.
Larcenies
A manager from Catholic Heath Care Service on N. Village Avenue reported to police on Feb. 25 that someone removed a wallet from her purse that was unattended near her work area.
A resident of Maine Avenue reported to police on Feb. 26 that someone stole her 2005 Suzuki from a parking lot. Police later recovered the stolen car in Morgan Day North parking field.
A Rockwin Road resident told police on Feb. 26 that someone broke the window to a car and stole a GPS device.
A resident from Inwood told police on March 1 that someone stole property from a locker at Bally Total Fitness on Merrick Road.
A Hempstead resident reported to police on March 1 that someone stole property from a locker at Bally Total Fitness on Merrick Road.
A resident from East Rockaway reported to police on March 1 that someone stole property from a locker at Bally Total Fitness on Merrick Road.
A Harvard Avenue resident told police on March 4 that someone stole a wallet and camera case from her purse while she was working at the Pain Management Center of Long Island on N. Centre Avenue.
A Clinton Avenue resident reported to police on March 5 that someone stole an iPod Touch from his knapsack while he was at a South Side High School gym class.
Identify theft
A Roxbury Road resident told police on Feb. 19 that someone made unauthorized charges on her Visa Gold account totaling $226.60.
Property damage
A Meehan Lane resident reported to police on Feb. 15 that someone damaged the hood of her 2010 Kia.
A resident from Bedford told police on Feb. 16 that someone damaged the passenger door of her 2009 Infiniti while it was parked at NEFCU on Merrick Road.
A Merrick Road resident reported to police on Feb. 17 that someone damaged the rear of his 2004 Nissan.
A Maple Avenue resident told police on Feb. 18 that someone damaged the driver side doors of his 2000 Cadillac while it was parked in front of his residence.
A resident from Baldwin told police on March 1 that someone damaged the driver side of her 2006 Toyota.
A manager from a Sunrise Highway restaurant told police on March 4 that someone damaged a side window to the restaurant.
A resident from St. James Place told police on March 6 that someone damaged the rear window of his 2005 Honda while it was parked on Front Street.
Unusual incidents
A resident from Brower Avenue told police on Feb. 28 that someone made unauthorized purchases on his Citi MasterCard and tried to obtain credit using personal information.
A visitor from San Francisco, Calif. told San Francisco Police on March 4 that someone made an unauthorized purchase of $1,475.07 at the Radio Shack on Sunrise Highway in August 2010.
Juvenile investigation
Police received a report on March 4 that two 13-year-olds had been shot with a pellet gun by acquaintances while at the Wilson Elementary School on Buckingham Road. The teens reported minor injuries and refused medical attention when their parents joined them at Rockville Centre Police Department headquarters.
