Arrest
A 22-year-old woman from Old Mill Court, Rockville Centre was arrested on March 19 and charged with assault after an investigation at her residence.
Burglary
The owner of the T-Mobile store located at 323 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre reported on March 19 that someone entered the rear of the store the day before and stole $1,035 from a locked safe in a locked room. The person also stole four Samsung cell phones, valued at $2,116 from the same locked room.
Reckless endangerment
A resident of Old Mill Court reported on March 20 that someone fired gunshots through a bedroom window, causing damage to the windows and apartment interior.
Assault
A resident of St. Marks Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on March 18 that he was assaulted by strangers while in Municipal Parking Field 9. The victim received facial lacerations and contusions.
Investigation
The manager of the CVS located at 598 Merrick Road, Rockville Centre reported on March 18 that two males attempted to purchase a $500 Macy’s gift card and a $103 carton of cigarettes with an altered credit card. There was no reported loss and the subjects left the scene in a 2011 Chevrolet Impala.
Criminal mischief
A resident of Old Mill Court reported on March 20 that someone damaged the windshield of her 2004 VW, causing an estimated $400 worth of damage, while it was parked in Morgan Days North parking field.
Property damage
A resident of N. Forest Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on March 17 that the front passenger tire of her 2009 Honda was damaged by unknown means.
The next day, a resident of Thomas Road, Rockville Centre reported that someone damaged a second floor exterior bathroom window, valued at $100.
Harassment
A female resident of Raymond Street, Rockville Centre reported on March 19 that a female acquaintance from N. Forest Avenue, Lynbrook followed her in the vicinity of the Recreation Center, causing annoyance and alarm.
A resident of Woods Avenue, Rockville Centre reported the same day that someone made two unsolicited phone calls regarding his 13-year-old daughter that caused annoyance and alarm.
The same day, a resident of DeMott Avenue, Rockville Centre reported that a former friend from Pine Street was texting,calling and yelling at her in public, causing annoyance and alarm.
