People named in Crime Watch items as having been arrested and charged with violations or crimes are only suspected of committing those acts of which they are accused. They are all presumed to be innocent of those charges until and unless found guilty in a court of law.

Arrests

A 21-year-old man from Remsen Street, Hempstead was arrested on May 1 and charged with robbery and additional charges following the investigation of a domestic incident in the vicinity of Sunrise Highway.

The same day, a 31-year-old man from 122nd Place, S. Ozone Park was arrested for two open bench warrants charging him with petit larceny after an investigation on Peninsula Boulevard, Rockville Centre.

A 36-year-old man from Lexington Avenue, Freeport was arrested the next day and charged with driving while intoxicated and unlicensed operation after an investigation at Merrick Road and Morris Avenue, Rockville Centre.

A 38-year-old man from 144 Terrace, Springfield Gardens was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation after an accident investigation on Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre.

The same day, a 28-year-old man from Oceanside Road, Oceanside was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation and VTL violations after an investigation on N. Park Avenue, Rockville Centre.

n The next day, a 27-year-old man from Grand Avenue, Rockville Centre was arrested and charged with petit larceny after an investigation at the 7-11 located at 324 Merrick Road, Rockville Centre.

Burglary

A resident of S. Village Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on April 30 that someone damaged the rear side window of his 2010 Ford and stole property while the car was parked in his garage. The property stolen included a Canon camera, GPS and about $30 in coins. The garage door lock was damaged and there were pry marks on the door. Two additional larcenies were reported at the same apartment building parking garage during the investigation at the scene and a third attempted larceny was reported to police later in the day.

Larcenies

A resident of Pacific Street, Massapequa Park reported on May 4 that someone stole her Amazon Kindle, valued at $150, from a desk in a classroom at Hewitt School.

A resident of Lincoln Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on May 6 that someone stole four credit cards from her unlocked 2000 Toyota while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field 4.

The same day, a resident of Oxford Street, Northport reported that someone stole a pocketbook, credit cards and personal property from her 2009 Jeep while it was parked at the Skelos Sports Complex.

A resident of East 17th Street, Brooklyn reported on the same day that someone stole a purse containing personal property, including credit cards, from a shopping cart while at Home Goods, located at 150 N. Village Avenue, Rockville Centre.

Criminal mischief

A resident of N. Village Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on May 2 that someone damaged her 19998 Honda while it was parked in the apartment building parking lot.

The next day, an employee from the Better Home Health Care, located at 310 Merrick Rd., Rockville Centre reported that someone damaged a glass door valued at approximately $1,000.

A resident of McDermott Road, Rockville Centre reported on May 5 that someone damaged a tire to his 1991 Mercedes Benz while it was parked on Broadway, Rockville Centre.

Property damage

The owner of Ed McNulty Realty, located at 29A N. Village Ave., Rockville Centre reported on May 6 that a window, valued at $500, was damaged.

Lost property

A resident of Henry Hudson Parkway, Bronx reported on May 4 that she lost her Apple 4G iPhone while at Kasey’s Kitchen and Cocktails, located at 23 N. Park Ave., Rockville Centre.

A resident of Austin Boulevard, Island Park reported on May 5 that she lost her pocketbook, containing personal property, while in the vicinity of Sunrise Highway and N. Centre Avenue.
