Arrests
A 20-year-old man from Vincent Street, Rockville Centre was arrested on Sept. 4 at 11:55 p.m. and charged with assault after an investigation by police in the vicinity of S. Forest Avenue and Merrick Road, Rockville Centre.
A 19-year-old man, also from Vincent Street, Rockville Centre was arrested on Sept. 5 at 3:10 a.m. and charged with assault in connection with the same incident.
Burglaries
A resident of S. Park Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on Sept. 7 that someone entered her apartment and stole jewelry, valued at $800 from a bedroom.
The next day, a resident of Meehan Lane, Rockville Centre reported that someone entered her residence and stole a wallet containing $200.
Assaults
A resident of Irving Road, Amity Harbor reported on Sept. 4 that while she was in Kasey’s Bar, located at 23 N. Park Ave., Rockville Centre, two males were fighting and she was punched in the left eye and ear by one of the men. She had a concussion and required medical attention.
A resident of Old Mill Court, Rockville Centre reported on Sept. 7 that she was assaulted by a female friend, resulting in substantial pain, while in front of her residence.
A resident of Calvin Street, Lynbrook reported on Sept. 9 that someone shoved him into a storefront window at Sushi-Ya, located at 9 N. Park Ave, causing a laceration to his right forearm and damage to the window valued at $500.
Harassment
A resident of 222nd Street, Richmond Hill, reported that an unknown youth slapped him in the right side of his head on Sept. 9, causing no injury, while he was working as a security guard at the Rockville Centre Public Library, at 221 N. Village Ave., Rockville Centre.
Larcenies
A sales associate at the Radio Shack located at 264 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre reported on Sept. 5 that someone stole a Gigaware Cable PS-Mac USB-Mini, valued at $18.99, by leaving the store without paying.
The same day, a resident of White Deer Court, Huntington reported that someone stole a watch, valued at $1,200, and a ring, valued at $300, from her 2007 BMW while it was parked at Skelos Field.
A resident from Buckner Avenue, Hicksville reported the same day that someone stole $270 and a Macy’s credit card, which was used to make a $954.67 in unauthorized purchases, from her car while it was parked at Skelos Field, Rockville Centre.
The same day, a resident of 6th Street, Lindenhurst reported that someone stole a knapsack and wallet through the open passenger window of his 2012 Kia while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field 16.
A resident of Loch Path, Rockville Centre also reported on Sept. 5 that someone stole a wallet containing $50 and credit cards while she was working at St. Agnes Cathedral School, located at 70 Clinton Ave., Rockville Centre.
Identity thefts
A resident of S. Park Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on Sept. 5 that someone used his Citibank credit card to make $119.70 in unauthorized purchases.
A resident of Rockaway Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on Sept. 7 that someone opened two T-Mobile accounts using his personal information without authorization.
The next day, a resident of S. Centre Avenue, Rockville Centre reported that someone charged $107.88 on his iTunes account without authorization.
Unusual incident
A resident of Hempstead Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on Sept. 4 that she found instant messaging from a 34 year old made on her 11-year-old daughter’s iPad.
Graffiti
A resident of N. Long Beach Road, Rockville Centre reported on Sept. 7 that someone placed graffiti on her 2011 Chevrolet while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field # 2A.
Criminal mischief
A resident of Rockaway Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on Sept. 9 that someone did damage to a side window of Echo’s Liquors, located at 83 Rockaway Avenue, Rockville Centre, causing approximately $600 in damage.
Lost property
The manager of Rockville Centre Pharmacy, located at 30 Hempstead Ave., Rockville Centre reported on Sept. 4 that an Ameda Breast Pump, valued at $550, was missing.
A resident of S. Kensington Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on Sept. 5 that she lost her passport.
On Aug. 31, a resident of Huntington reported losing cash and checks while driving from South Side High School to Skelos Sports Complex.
