Arrests

A resident of Rockville Centre was arrested on June 12 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation on Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre.

A resident of of Old Mill Court, Rockville Centre was arrested on June 14 and charged with disorderly conduct after an investigation at his home.

A resident of Dorchester Road, Rockville Centre was arrested on June 15 and charged with assault and an open bench warrant for aggravated unlicensed operation after an investigation on North Village Avenue, Rockville Centre.

A resident of Wyoming Avenue, Long Beach was arrested on June 15 and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal sale of a controlled substance in or near schools after an investigation in the vicinity of Homecrest Court, Oceanside.

A resident of Commons Way, Deer Park was arrested on June 15 and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance after an investigation in the vicinity of Homecrest Court, Oceanside.

Geronimo A. Ramirez, 30, of Merrick Road, Rockville Centre was arrested on June 17 and charged with disorderly conduct after an investigation on South Park Avenue, Rockville Centre.

Robbery

A resident of Nottingham Road, Rockville Centre reported on June 14 at 1:45 a.m. that three subjects displayed a handgun and robbed a pizza delivery person before they fled on foot, going south toward Overlook Lane.

Burglaries

A resident of Southard Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on June 15 that sometime between May 29 and June 8 someone stole a silverware set, valued at $300, ten drinking glasses valued at $200 and a patio set, valued at $500, from a residence on Driscoll Avenue, Rockville Centre.

A resident of North Forest Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on June 17 that someone entered a vacant apartment through an unlocked front door without permission and stole an Acer Model 5517 lap top computer valued at $430.

Assault

A resident of Maple Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on June 13 that at his 13-year-old son was assaulted by two acquaintances while in front of the South Side Middle School at 67 Hillside Ave., Rockville Centre.

Larcenies

A resident of Westminister Road, Rockville Centre reported on June 16 that someone stole his locked and secure 2012 Raleigh Route 3.0 bicycle valued at $434 from the vicinity of the LIRR in front of 55 Front St., Rockville Centre.

The same day, a resident of Maryland reported that someone made $316 in unauthorized purchases against her personal accounts after she lost her wallet at the Fantasy Movie Theater 18 N. Park Ave., Rockville Centre.

Unusual incident

A resident of Hendricksen Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on June 15 that someone made an unauthorized $198 charge against her American Express account.

Identity theft

A resident of Cedar Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on June 15 that sometime between May 9 and Friday May 25 someone used his social security number to open a Barclay Bank Visa account and a T- Mobile account and made purchases valued at $1,500 without authorization.

Criminal mischief

A resident of Hampshire Road, Rockville Centre reported on June 14 that sometime between June 12 and June 14 someone damaged her 2009 Cadillac that was parked in her driveway.

A resident of Berkshire Road, Rockville Centre reported on June 17 that someone damaged a wooden fence that morning, causing approximately $300 in damage.

Property damage

A resident of Lehigh Court, Rockville Centre reported on June 13 that on June 9 the trunk to her 2012 VW was damaged by unknown means.

A resident of New Hampshire Avenue, Massapequa reported on June 16 that the passenger side mirror to her mother’s 2003 VW was damaged by unknown means while parked in front of 77 S. Park Ave., Rockville Centre.

Fire

On June 16 police and Rockville Centre Fire Department personnel responded to a report that there was a fire at 100 N. Centre Ave., Rockville Centre. The fire was extinguished by the RVCFD.
