On Tuesday evening, October 4, the Rockville Centre Democratic Club will give residents an opportunity to meet the Democratic candidates for this year’s election to Town of Hempstead positions.
The Democratic candidates for Town Supervisor, Town Clerk and Town Receiver of Taxes, as well as candidates for the fifth and sixth districts of the Nassau County Legislature, will be present. The program will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Sandel Center, located at 50 South Park Avenue at the northwest corner of Lincoln Avenue.
Membership in the Democratic Club is not necessary to attend.
“If, as we hear so often, all politics is local, then this is a perfect opportunity to hear what these new, enthusiastic candidates have to offer us through our local Town of Hempstead government,” said Sam Rieff, president of the club.
