Mixed Media by Theresa Pintabona

Art has been Theresa’s passion all of her life; there is not a day that passes that she does no think about or create art. She had a love of drawing as far back as a child in the first grade. Drawing people, animals and scenery came naturally to her. As she grew older she continued developing her drawing skills introducing colors and paints. Studying portrait painting helped her to develop use of pastels, oils, and acrylic paints. Today her portraits of people and animals are primarily in pastels, while she utilizes mixed media for landscapes and other subjects. Pintabona is a member of the Art League of Rockville Centre, Floral Park and Roslyn Art Museum. Private showings of her work have been held at various libraries and at an industrial center in Westbury.
