On May 3 at 8 p.m. Congregation B'nai Sholom-Beth David presents Madeleine Albright discussiing her new book, "Prague Winter: A Personal Story of Remembrance and War, 1937-1948." It is a look at her family's experiences before, during and after World War II. In this conversation, hear her story along with her interviews with contemporaries and newly available documents abut the enormously complex events that took place. Award-winning film at Molloy
"The Race to Nowhere," a documentary by Vicki Abeles, will be shown on May 4 at the Madison Theatre at Molloy College. Admission is free. The film highlights the unintended consequences of our pressure-cooker culture and education system. An eye-opening call to action, the documentary challenges current assumptions about how to best prepare young people for the future.
