Rockville Centre experiencing power outages

Some residential and business areas of Rockville Centre may experience electrical outages throughout the day on Wednesday as the village anticipates it will take the better part of the day to fix a variety of problems, including downed trees and telephone poles, and underground outages caused by the March 13 nor'easter that blasted the village with near hurricane winds. Crews are working to restore power.
