Rockville Centre residents woke up to a pretty scene as the first snow of the season fell early Saturday morning.
A light snow, possibly mixing with rain, was expected to fall through midday, with accumulations of up to three inches. Not deep enough for crews to plow, salt spreaders kept the roads passable, but motorists were warned to watch out for icy conditions.
