This summer, Pierce Lewin, of Rockville Centre, gained firsthand experience in government and community outreach during his internship with State Senator Todd Kaminsky. During the internship, Pierce interacted daily with constituents and assisted the Senator and his staff at events and forums.

Pierce attends Regis High School in Manhattan, where he is involved in REACH, an educational leadership program that works to assist underprivileged middle school students to attain scholarships to Regis. Further, he is a dynamic athlete, playing soccer, track, lacrosse, basketball and football.

“Pierce’s interest in public service and his aspirations to work in government have given me tremendous hope the future of Long Island,” said Kaminsky. “This summer, he has dedicated his time to serving the needs of constituents across New York’s Ninth Senate district. I certainly hope that this experience solidifies his commitment and inspires him to pursue a life of public service.”
