For the second year in a row, South Side High School 9th grader Jonathan De Tullio won the 2011 Mid-Atlantic Irish Dance Championships in a competition that took place on Nov. 9
Attributing his success to a recent move to The Petri School of Irish Dance, Jonathan has been training with owners Lisa and Karen Petri over the last 19 months. Within that time his competitive standings jumped. Jonathan is 1st in the region, 4th in the nation, 6th in Great Britain and 9th in the world. Currently, he is preparing for The 2012 World Irish Dance Championships, which will be held in Belfast this April.
