Arrests
Joseph Ryder Kern, 22, of Locust Street, Garden City, was arrested on Nov. 24 at 1:40 a.m. and charged with criminal mischief following a police investigation on North Park Avenue.
Enrico Emanuelli, 40, of 100th Street, Ozone Park was arrested at 3:50 a.m. on Nov. 24 and charged with assault following a disturbance that took place inside Cabo, 3 N. Park Ave.
Matthew A Puma, 22, of Greentree Drive, Oceanside, was arrested at 12:05 a.m. on Nov. 26 and charged with endangering the welfare of a child, public lewdness and exposure of a person following a police investigation on North Park Avenue.
Elise Marie Conway, 64, of 151st Ave. Howard Beach, was arrested at 3:56 p.m. on Nov. 26 and charged with petit larceny following a police investigation at Home Goods, 150 N. Village Ave.
Robert Comenga, 19, of Burton Avenue, Woodmere was arrested at 2:25 a.m. on Nov. 27 and charged with driving while intoxicated and other vehicle traffic law violations following an investigation at Sunrise Highway and North Village Avenue.
Robbery
On Nov. 26 at 2:30 p.m., a Lynbrook resident reported that he was assaulted and robbed of his Tissot watch, valued at $350, at 1:15 a.m. by four unknown men operating a white SUV near Municipal Parking Field # 1 at Sunrise Highway.
Attempted burglary
On Nov. 22 at 6:55 p.m., a Harrison Avenue resident reported that an unknown person attempted to enter her front door while she was inside her home.
Larcenies
On Nov. 21 at 11 a.m., a Hempstead resident told police that her 2000 Nissan X-Terra was stolen from in front of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Center on North Centre Avenue. The owner reportedly had left the vehicle running and unattended while she dropped her child off at daycare. The vehicle was recovered by its owner in Hempstead at about 11 p.m. that day.
On Nov. 21 at 4:10 p.m., a Manhasset resident reported the theft of his 2011 Toyota Camry from the parking lot of 165 N. Village Avenue. The victim stated that someone entered his office in the building where he practices as a psychologist and removed the vehicle’s keys from his jacket.
On Nov. 26, a resident of Hicksville, reported that someone operating a gold or silver Mercedes Benz stole his Apple I-phone, valued at $350, while he was near 5 North
Village Ave.
At 11 a.m. on Nov. 26, a woman from Lynbrook told police that her wallet containing credit/debit cards was stolen while she was on North Park Avenue. The victim reported that unauthorized purchases, totaling approximately $1,600, were made against her accounts sometime after the wallet was taken.
Property damage
On Nov. 26 at 5:30 p.m., a Cutchogue resident reported that a Red Box DVD kiosk located at the 7-11 store at 324 Merrick Road was somehow damaged between Nov. 25 at 8 p.m. and the next day at 5 p.m.
Unusual incident
On Nov 21, at 6:15 p.m., a resident of Lynbrook told police that someone loosened the lug nuts on a wheel of her 2003 Mitsubishi Montero while it was parked at 50 N. Park Ave. during the day on Nov. 18. The vehicle owner stated that the wheel came off her vehicle while she was driving home on Merrick Road in Lynbrook that same day.
Domestic incident
On Nov. 27 at 11:11 p.m., a resident of Hempstead Avenue reported that she had a dispute with her boyfriend while at her home, a violation of an active order of protection.
Narcotics
On Nov. 21 at 3 p.m., a Rockville Centre Police Neighborhood Aide reported finding a clear bag containing a white substance believed to be cocaine while he was issuing parking tickets on North Village Avenue. The material was taken to Nassau County Police headquarters for destruction.
Lost property
On Nov. 23 at 1:01 p.m., a Lenox Road resident reported losing his retired NYPD identification card.
