Rockville Centre's reflections on diversity

Twenty-four students at the William Covert School participated in the 2011 – 2012 National PTA Reflections Art Program. Students created works in literature, photography and visual arts in response to this year’s theme, “Diversity Means.”

The following students participated in the program:

Regional finalists were Sean Cavanagh, Isabeau Tomkiel, Matthew Tomlinson, Andrew Lyons, Nicolas Tesar, Catherine Delaney, Avery Goldberg and Skylar Goldberg.

Third grader Nicholas Tesar, placed in the program and will have his photographic work advance to the sate level for further judging. The Covert School PTA would like to wish him good luck and to thank all the students who particiated.

The purpose of the Reflections Art Program is to encourage students to explore their artistic talents.
