Filmmaker Alex Cirillo, a Rockville Centre native, has teamed up with actress and sketch-comedienne Dani Faith Leonard and Francesca Ferrara and Aimee LoDuca, both also from Rockville Centre, on BigVisionEmptyWallet.com.

Their website, which launches on May 1, will be a one-stop resource for independent filmmakers in New York City. Promoters say it will provide a fresh and unique perspective for New York City's independent film and arts community with clever, humorous and honest content along with a handy production resource guide. Their goal is to encourage people to make films in New York City and to offer news and resources that will guide filmmakers in this competitive industry and the current economy.

The site will feature a directory of local vendors, union rules, guidelines for shooting in New York City, sample production forms, festival deadlines and job listings. The site will also feature stories by professionals on topics such as producing, directing, screenwriting, distribution, casting, acting, entertainment law, business and more.
