RVC students 'ace' enrichment classes

The Ace Enrichment Program for Rockville Centre students in grades K-5 is currently under way at South Side Middle School for seven Saturdays through March 19. This year, students were given more than 30 options of “fun” classes they could take. Offerings such as Cake Boss Jr. (a cake decorating class), Arena Football, Yoga, Mad Scientists, Bedazzled and Bejeweled and Crafty Kids have all been big hits with the students who were given the option of taking a single one-hour class or multiple classes. Co-program directors Therese Cohen and Darren Raymar carefully selected the classes, staffed them with enthusiastic teachers, and say that they couldn’t be happier with the results.
