Three days after a report issued at Monday's Oceanside school board meeting set off alarms in the heads of parents and administrators about students' safety, The Herald visited three of the district's eight schools to see what repairs had been made.
The report is a culmination of safety and hazard findings from a 25-member volunteer committee that began searching Oceanside schools in the beginning of July and ended around November.
Of the 16 interior items mentioned on the summary for School 3, Principal Jeff Schlissel said many had been repaired.
