Satriano awards presented

This month nine East Meadow High School graduating seniors received The Susan Satriano Foundation Scholarship Award. The award recipients are Matthew DeCillis, Amanda Goodman, Jared Smith, Daniel Spellman, Gina Vallone, Salvatore Vallone, Daniel Wax, Samantha Weiss and Christopher Davis.

The Susan Satriano Memorial Scholarship Foundation awards scholarships to graduating seniors who either have a parent currently battling cancer or who have already succumbed to it. Since the foundation began five years ago, it has helped 75 students go on to fulfill their dreams of going to college.
