The sounds of Broadway will fill the summer air, when Eisenhower Park becomes Broadway East” for an evening of hits from popular theatricals. Original cast members who played leading roles on the Great White Way perform the hit songs from some of the most memorable shows. This is a great to chance to see – or revisit – the best of Broadways hit shows. The stars of Wicked, Les Miserables, Grease, Phantom of the Opera, andBeauty and the Beast, among other productions, appear in the show. So, forget the train, the traffic and the parking. Bring a chair, a blanket and the family and enjoy top notch entertainment under the stars.

Exploring The Arts
Enjoy a summer outing to Nassau County Museum of Art with the family. It’s a day of music and art as young musicians play throughout the afternoon, while families explore the history of art at various painting stations. Young artists can try their hands at producing Jackson Pollock-inspired drip paintings, Andy Warhol’s pop art, Monet’s dreamy Impressionist landscapes, Picasso’s cubist masterpieces, and more. While you’re there, check out the museum’s current exhibits, on a guided walk-through.
