Senator commends Hispanic Counseling Center for services

    State Sen. Kemp Hannon (R-Franklin Square) recently commended the Hispanic Counseling Center for its unique and vital services throughout Long Island at a breakfast and informational showcase.
    "Hispanic Counseling Center is touching the lives of youth and families across Nassau County," Hannon said. "Their staff's mission, selfless work and dedication should be highlighted and commended."
    The center, located in Hempstead, is a nonprofit agency that provides comprehensive services for Latino families on Long Island. Serving more than 1,200 clients a month, HCC provides a variety of services — all bilingual — from treatments and prevention of chemical dependence to youth and family programs.
