A total of 78 Lynbrook Public School students in grades four through 12 qualified to perform in the New York State Music Association’s All-County Festival on the weekends of January 8 and 15. They will join a select group of musicians from all over Nassau County for a gala concert series at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, featuring select chorus, orchestra, band and jazz band performances. Hundreds of students auditioned for this honor at the NYSSMA Solo Evaluation Festivals held last spring.
