Malvernites Scott and Linda Langton, 10 and 9 years old, respectively, proudly displayed their first-place ribbons at the “My Shine” horse show last month.
The show, part of the Special Horses Instructing Noble Equestrians program, is a therapeutic equine program for children and adults with special needs. My Shine has four NARHA-certified instructors and is held at the Sweet Hills Equestrian Center in Huntington.
Scott and Linda have been riding for three years and, according to their mother, Edith Heinsohn, is it their favorite activity.
