Area shoppers wasted no time in visiting the new Key Food supermarket on Sunrise Highway and Ocean Avenue after it opened last Saturday with a formal ceremony and a ribbon cutting which was attended by Key Food executives and village officials.
Shoppers in the new, totally refurbished store will find a large deli section that offers premium products and a wide variety of ready-to-eat prepared food, in addition to a full selection of fresh dairy, produce and meat — including natural and organic items — and standard supermarket staples.
Owner Benjamin J. Levine, a Long Beach native, promised better quality, better variety, better pricing, old-fashioned customer service and one-stop shopping in the store.
