The forecast is for the snow to taper off and end early in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
Total accumulations of a half inch to 1 inch are possible with some areas getting 1.5 inches.
When driving take precautions as untreated roadways could be covered with snow. Motorists are urged to slowdown while traveling.
