Together, they will answer all of your most intimate questions, while trying not to give away too many storyline secrets. (Even if you're not a soap fan they're worth coming to look at.)
Alicia joined the cast of All My Children in January 2002, stepping into the shoes of Sarah Michelle Gellar who originated the role years earlier (before becoming Buffy the Vampire Slayer). Alicia's recent television and film credits include Celebrity Death Match, Hit and Runway, The Caprice, Game Day, and The Music Zone. On stage she's appeared in Beggar on Horseback, Of Love and Betrayal, Godspell, Nunsense, and Kiss Me Kate.
Sam's been on AMC since last March. He plays James Kenyon III, better known as Trey a young hotshot lawyer who's been shaking up lots of lives in Pine Valley since his arrival. You may recognize him from his roles on Undressed, Seventh Heaven, Popular, Hang Time and Border Town.
And Aiden is the newest-comer; he's been playing Aidan Devane since last May. Born and raised in England, he's had a great deal of success modeling around the world. His television credits include Heartbreak High and he was featured in a music video for former Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell.
Before becoming an actor, Aiden worked as a successful chef in Europe. His fans are thrilled that he's now heating things up on AMC, instead of in the kitchen.
Although none of them have ever appeared at a comedy club before, they're all looking forward to it. I think I'm a funny guy. I can't make a living at being a funny guy but my friends and I are always out for a laugh and a joke, playing pranks on each other. I would rather laugh and joke around than be serious I'm not a serious guy, Aiden says.
At Super Soap Weekend in Orlando they put me on a stage, handed me a microphone and I just talked away, says Alicia. I had such a good time interacting with people and answering questions and talking about stuff. I could have done it for hours and loved doing it, so I'm really looking forward to this. It's great being around people who watch the show and are excited and have all sorts of questions. I'm very chatty. I won't have a problem chatting, she laughs.
I must have met over 600 fans in two days, at Super Soap Weekend, adds Aiden. Most of my fans wanted to know if I'm from London...which I am. And they wanted to know what my job is like. So, I explained that it's hard. They give you twenty pages of dialog and expect you to learn it perfectly by the next day. But it's also great because you get to travel (I'm leaving for the Bahamas tomorrow) and get into nightclubs that you might normally have trouble getting into.
My fans want to know what it's like to play Susan Lucci's daughter, says Alicia. And what it's like to play such a fun, devious character. I always tell them how wonderful it is to work with Susan and how fun it is to play Kendall. She's always up to something. I get excited when I read the script because there's always something new going on with my character.
Oh, and they want to know what it's like to kiss all the hot guys which is actually quite pleasant because not only have the guys been cute, but they've been really nice and they've always made me feel comfortable, so I never felt weird about kissing any of them.
It's funny because after a while, no matter how charming or gorgeous the guys are, it turns into work but every now and then there are moments when I think, Ôwow, that was a good kiss, let's do that again!' she laughs. So it kind of switches off between work and fun and work and fun. I always enjoy it no matter what.
Aiden is one of the guys that Alicia's spent lots of time kissing. He and I hit it off immediately we had to kiss so much in the beginning and I'm very close to Sam. He lives a few blocks from my house. We go out to eat a lot together; he's one of my closest friends on the show. I'm so happy I'm doing an event with the two of them. I can just be myself and have fun with them.
Aiden agrees, I'm mates with Sam, I don't see him too often outside of work. But Alicia, my girlfriend and I are all kind of chummy we go out to dinner together...I'm excited about doing the Brokerage Club with them...I may do something silly, he laughs. I'll have a couple of beers and enjoy it with everyone. I can't wait!
