Vincent Irizarry, who plays AMC's reprehensible, yet adorable Dr. David Hayward and Finola Hughes, who portrays loveable Anna Devane will be just a few feet away from you and ready to answer all of your questions.
They'll let you in on all the behind the scenes gossip, like who they really hang out with when the camera stops rolling and what it's like to do a love scene! And the best part is you get to meet them. So, be sure to bring a camera!
And as if that weren't exciting enough...the following week, on May 4, As the World Turns stars Paul Leyden (Simon Frasier) and Terri Colombino (Katie Peretti Frasier) will be on hand to answer your questions. It's worth going just to hear Paul's sexy Australian accent.
Even if you're not a die-hard soap fan, you'll probably recognize all four famous faces from other projects. Vincent worked with Treat Williams and Peter Coyote in Echoes in the Darkness. He also portrayed Gino Santangelo in Jackie Collins' miniseries Lucky Chances. And soap fans first fell in love with him when he played Lujack on Guiding Light.
Finola Hughes began playing Anna Devane, in 1985, on General Hospital and recently resurrected her (everyone thought she was dead) on AMC. In addition, she often shows up on Charmed, playing the charmed ones' mother. She co-starred with John Travolta in Stayin' Alive, and starred in the movie Aspen Extreme.
Paul Leyden starred in the miniseries Tribe, and can be seen in episodes of Farscape, Beastmaster, and Home and Away. And Terri Colombino was a regular on the syndicated series Breaker High.
Paul and Terri play a married couple on ATWT and Finola and Vincent are newlyweds on AMC. Of course, neither couple wed because they were in love. There were much more interesting reasons...like Anna didn't want to have to testify against David...They're sure to be two very memorable shows.
We call it Soap Stars in Comedy, says Brokerage Club owner Gary Smith. In addition to the soap stars, we have two comedians, each night, who perform before the actors come out.
On the night Vincent and Finola will be here, we'll have comedians Mike Eagen and Joe Bublewicz performing. They'll do about 20 minutes of stand-up each. We have them, so if the fans bring their husbands or boyfriends, the guys won't be bored.
After the comics, the soap stars come on stage. They usually have exciting stories to tell. Sometimes they have things planned
